The Seychelles has a wide selection of accommodation to suit all budgets, ranging from self-catering apartments and small family run properties to five star luxury island resorts.

Each Seychelles island offers a different 'living' experience and to assist you in choosing yours, Planit Seychelles has given the accommodation on this site a Palm Tree ratings guide:-

3 x Palm Trees = Standard accommodation
4 x Palm Trees = Superior accommodation
5 x Palm Trees = Deluxe accommodation
6 x Palm Trees = Luxury accommodation

It should be noted that the above is not an 'official' rating, merely Planit Seychelles assessment of the standard of hotel or resort.

Many of the hotels and resorts in the Seychelles offer a choice of room which can vary from simply furnished with garden views (standard room) to beachfront suites (luxury) but whether you choose Standard, Superior, Deluxe or Luxury categories, in our experience they all have a charm of their own.

The rooms and suites on the Island Resorts are generally the same decor/configuration with the difference being the location on the island in relation to the other buildings. Many of the bungalows and/or villas on the small island resorts bring you closer to nature as they are open-sided (see Fregate 1st picture on right and North Island see Bathroom picture 2nd on right) and offer uninterupted views across the powder soft, white sand beaches to the horizon with natures very own air-conditioning... the sea breezes to cool you!
