Sailing Yacht Sea Star

The S.Y. Sea Star is a lovely custom built, 3-masted schooner with five modern Bermuda sails. Fitted with the most up to date navigational equipment, she can easily negotiate the inner islands as well as the open ocean.

Elegantly fitted, there are nine double cabins with en-suite shower and w.c., two salons and a dining area. There is a spacious deck area for sunbathing, relaxing and dining.  For the energetic, Sea Star carries canoes, snorkelling equipment, water skis, tubes, windsurfers and fishing equipment. She is also a PADI rated dive centre and carries dive tanks and equipment as well as a dive compressor.

CRUISE ITINERARY:

Saturday: Morning boarding with a welcome and briefing by the Captain. Depart for Round Island off Praslin.  Evening welcome Barbecue.

Sunday: Sail to Bay Ste Anne Jetty, Praslin, the second largest inhabited island in the Seychelles group. Embark for a visit to the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve - a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Monday: Sail during breakfast to Grand Soeur and Petit Soeur for a visit to this unique uninhabited tropical island and for excellent snorkelling/diving. Afternoon sail to Coco Islands.

Tuesday: Early morning sail toward La Digue island. After lunch, disembark for a visit of the island - the home of the Paradise Flycatcher and beaches reputed to be the best in the World.  Explore the island on Ox-cart or bicycles.

Wednesday: Sail to Booby Island for diving and watersports.  After lunch sail to Aride island nature reserve for an afternoon of exploring.

Thursday: On to Curieuse Island for a visit throught he mangrove forests and the giant tortoise conservation project. Afternoon of diving, snorkelling and other watersports or just relaxing.

Friday: After breakfast sail towards Mahe stopping at Ile Seche for the last opportunity to swim, snorkel or dive.  Farewell barbecue. During the evening sail in to Port Victoria for overnight.

Saturday: Morning disembarkation.
